Located at the midpoint of the Rainbow River float route, the home offers convenient access for tubing or relaxed downstream trips. KP Hole is about 2.5 hours upriver, making the full KP Hole-to-bridge float approximately 4 hours. From the house, you can simply float 2 hours downriver to the bridge. Rainbow River Retreat is ideally located: about 35 minutes from Ocala and the World Equestrian Center, 40 minutes from the Gulf Coast, 1.5 hours from Tampa and Orlando, and just 1 hour from Gainesville and the University of Florida.

Guests are provided a key card to access the private gate, boat ramp, and community park. This card is required for entry. NO PARKING UNDER HOUSE, ONLY ON DRIVEWAY TRASH GARBAGE IS EVERY MONDAY Please note there is an $700 replacement fee if the key card is lost. If “ events” take place it’s additional cost of $350.

This Property was incredible. No need to pay high prices at Disney and wait in line. Everything was top notch and of the highest quality. The kitchen and Family space layout is like a dream when feeding a hungry family after swimming and snorkeling the pristine clear waters of the Rainbow River. Fishing was some of the best I have ever experienced. Better than Northern Michigan or Minnesota. So many things to do in town and close drive to the saltwater bay where the shrimp and crab is so fresh. I would recommend this place to anyone with kids or multiple adult family members. A true outdoors paradise with Privacy and everything you need even if the weather does not cooperate. The Detail and Quality to the home was amazing even down to the kitchen knives. No expense was spared. Cant wait to go back and enjoy the state park, Clear Warm Water of the Rainbow River. K with the River Otters was like being in a dream and catching an 8 plus lb Large Mouth Bass was a Personal best!!
